Who are the hosts?

The Association of Muslim Schools UK (AMS UK) is hosting the event. It was established in 1992 to coordinate the work of Muslim schools and share best practice in advancing the education of Muslim children in the United Kingdom (UK). You can find more information about AMS UK on www.ams-uk.org

 

Who can be nominated?

The awards are open to nurseries, primary, secondary and special needs schools. Teachers, head teachers and education supporters (e.g. janitors, librarians, catering staff and classroom assistants) from all faiths, beliefs and cultures, are eligible for the individual categories

 

Will a person become a winner it they receive a lot of nominations?

No, simply receiving a high number of nominations does not mean an individual will automatically win an award, each nomination is judged independently.


Can I only nominate online?

Yes, nominations can only be submitted online. Please note that submissions cannot be saved and completed over several sessions. Therefore, it is advisable to compose your entry in a word processing programme and then copy and paste the text into the online nomination form.

 

How many nominations can I make?

Multiple nominations are acceptable for awards to individuals. Please note however that nominations will be sifted, and finalists short-listed based on the content of the nominations rather than the number of nominations received.

 

When do nominations close?

Midnight on Friday 23rd February 2018


Why in Droitwich Spa?

The idea was to have it at a prestigious venue in central UK to make it easier for everyone to travel to from around the country.


Will there be parking available?

Yes there is plenty of parking places onsite.
